Well, I'm finally going back to school tomorrow. I'm so excited! I've missed that place very much! Ah man! It's going to be fun to draw for school again and seeing all of my friends on a more daily basis. The only thing sad about it is most of my friends will be finishing their degree this semester while me it's going to be next year. Sigh. Oh well, that's the way things are. I took a decision and those are the consequences...
I'll be starting to work on my short film this semester (or should I say restart?). I still have the same ideas for my short film than last year except I got one extra idea too! (More on that later.)
I'm still going to post stuff here though. Mostly school work and junk.
tchÔ!
P.S. I'll be attending a workshop given by Nathan Fowkes on March 2nd! It's gonna be so cool!

Review of Daarken's Intro to Digital Painting
Hey everyone! I wanted to write a review of my very first online digital painting class! I wanted to write this review for anyone who is thinking of taking his class but still isn't sure so hopefully, this can help you make a more informed decision.
Mike 'Daarken' Lim is a freelance illustrator and concept artist. He has worked for Magic ; The Gathering, Warhammer, Dungeon & Dragons, Blizzard and many others. Strangely enough, I came across his class through google by typing ''Digital Painting Mentorship'' and his class was the first to pop up! I didn't know that much about him before, all I knew was he did a tutorial for the book ''Dig

Man! It took me about a year and a half to make this hole thing! but it was totally worth it! I was really hard work. I've spent my entire time at school doing nothing but this movie and I liked every minute of it.
I couldn't have done it without the help of my friends and family. And a special thanks to my sister, Stephanie, for letting me stay at her place while I was making it. I don't think I would have ever been able to finish it without her help.
P.S. For some weird reason, if you want to watch it bigger and with better quality, you have to go on vimeo to watch it...

3 dudes from my school started a kickstarter!
Hi everyone!
I just wanted to share the news that 3 guys who used to studied 3D animation at my school has just started a kickstarter for their short film! It looks astonishing too! I really some the painterly feels they used for the colors of their film! Their short film is called ''Le Gouffre'' and in their words: ''Quite simply, it's the most ambitious project we've ever done (its' also a french word meaning abyss, or large gap). It's an 8-min long animated short film, it features a new painterly style we came up with, and it tells the amazing journey of two travelers that must build a bridge to cross over an impossible gap blocking their
